Canon Powershot S60 - Realtor Camera - F28 Focal Length

Canon S60The Canon Powershot S60 is a 5 megapixel camera that boasts a quality lens that is capable of capturing shots at a 28–100 mm focal length, perfect for capturing wide angle shots of homes for realtors and realty professionals.

When trying to capture wide angles you need a lens that is compatible. Most digital cameras fall down in this regard. The Powershot S60 is a purse sized camera that works well in the field for capturing the whole house in one shot and probably the side yard. If you are a dedicated Real Estate professional, you should look into purchasing a camera that meets the wide angle criteria.

This Poweshot S60  is reasonably priced at under 280 dollars and offers a 3.6 optical zoom.

Casio EXILIM CARD EX-S600 digital camera

EX-600The  Casio EXILIM CARD EX-S600 miniature camera has a 6 megapixel, 3x optical zoom to go with the anti-shake technology. The camera is thin, Kate Moss thin, I mean seriously thin. 16 mm would not even leave a dent in your shirt pocket.

To make this small camera work, it has the “Anti Shake” technology, to allow such a small camera take quality pictures.

Digital Lifestyles has this to say about the Casio EXILIM CARD EX-S600 digital camera:

As is de rigeur on consumer compacts, there’s a built in movie mode with the Casio capturing MPEG-4, VGA (640×480 pixels) at 30 frames/second.

Battery life is a beefy 300 still pictures or 1 hour and 50 minutes of movie recording per battery charge, with the EX-S600 connecting to a TV or PC via the multi cradle, which also doubles as the battery charger.

This camera is available only Japan right now, but should be coming to America soon.

Nikon Coolpix S3 Preview

Nikon s3Lets Go Digital has a in depth preview of the Nikon Coolpix S3. This 6 megapixel camera is one of the smallest high quality cameras I have seen. James Bond would have been proud to carry around this one, as it would never have left a crease in his tuxedo.

From Lets Go Digital:

Nikon S3 preview : Just before the IFA 2005 kicked off, Nikon introduced a new series of digital cameras. Amongst them the Nikon Coolpix S3. This stylishly designed digital camera is carried out in various colours. We have had the white version in the office for a few days. The sample we show extensively in this preview is however a so-called pre-production sample. The Nikon S3 digital camera has a beautiful exterior and the compact size makes the Coolpix S3 camera extremely suitable to be carried around with you wherever you go. The high resolution of 6 Megapixels, an internal optical Nikkor lens with a range of 35-105mm and the beautiful 2.5-inch format monitor, make the Nikon Coolpix S3 a surprisingly versatile digital camera.

Kodak Easyshare V550 - 5 Megapixel Camera

V550_Photo_Frame_smThe new Kodak V550 is a consumer camera that shoots a very high quality 5 megapixel consumer camera, with a slim design that breaks away from Kodaks traditional clucky styling.

Trusted Reviews take on the Kodak Easyshare V550

Kodak has been a major player in the digital camera industry from the very start, producing some of the first digital SLR cameras such as the revolutionary DCS420 in conjunction with Canon and Nikon over 10 years ago. It has also been making consumer digital cameras since 1998, which is much longer than most of its rivals. It’s rather odd therefore that until comparatively recently Kodak’s digital cameras have been regarded rather poorly, and the company’s share of the lucrative digital compact market is not as large as one might expect, given that the name Kodak is practically synonymous with consumer photography. Part of the reason for this is that many of its cameras, although generally reliable, capable and easy to use, have lacked a certain style. In fact, many of them have been downright ugly. But all that is about to change, with the launch of the V series, including this, the top-of-the-range V550.
