Looking for a Digital Camera for your Small Business? The D50 is the Camera for you

Small Business Computing has a great article on why a small business would be smart to look at Nikon’s D50 D-SLR camera. This 6 megapixel camera allows one to use different lens to capture what you need, and the quality of the images is beyond compare.

From Small Business Computing:

Sharper Images Choosing the D50 over competing D-SLRs comes down ultimately to personal preference and business need. However, D50 is very slightly bigger and heavier than is its main rival, Canon’s hugely popular Digital Rebel XT, but it’s easier to hold and feels better balanced and more solidly built. Although the Rebel has a higher-resolution, 8 megapixel sensor, the D50’s sensor is bigger and, to our eyes, produces cleaner, clearer images.

Kodak Easyshare V550 - 5 Megapixel Camera

V550_Photo_Frame_smThe new Kodak V550 is a consumer camera that shoots a very high quality 5 megapixel consumer camera, with a slim design that breaks away from Kodaks traditional clucky styling.

Trusted Reviews take on the Kodak Easyshare V550

Kodak has been a major player in the digital camera industry from the very start, producing some of the first digital SLR cameras such as the revolutionary DCS420 in conjunction with Canon and Nikon over 10 years ago. It has also been making consumer digital cameras since 1998, which is much longer than most of its rivals. It’s rather odd therefore that until comparatively recently Kodak’s digital cameras have been regarded rather poorly, and the company’s share of the lucrative digital compact market is not as large as one might expect, given that the name Kodak is practically synonymous with consumer photography. Part of the reason for this is that many of its cameras, although generally reliable, capable and easy to use, have lacked a certain style. In fact, many of them have been downright ugly. But all that is about to change, with the launch of the V series, including this, the top-of-the-range V550.

The Sexy Sony T7 - Purse Camera

Sony_dsc_t5Lets recognize the obvious, I am a guy. I like guy cameras, and yes, design for technology products are typically aimed at the guys. But it looks like Sony has something going with their T7 camera. This camera can come in red, champagne gold, silver, and black. Combining it with a design that is both sleek and unique, you have a camera that looks as if it could come out of Paris Hilton’s purse, or Martha Stewart’s jacket pocket as she walks the aisles of KMART looking over her new line.

For the gadget geek, it is not a bad camera. A Carl Zeiss lens, 5 megabyte resolution, and a easy to see 2.5 inch LCD, you have a camera that should take a great picture. The only glaring weakness is that it requires the Sony Memory Stick. I am not a big fan of proprietary memory, but if this does not bother you, and you consider yourself a fashionista, this is a great looking and fine shooting camera.
